China Shenhua has production capacity of 310 million tonnes, accounting for 7 percent of China’s national total. It has built China’s first 200-million-tonne coal production base which has realized fully-mechanized operation and formed a cluster of mines each with an annual capacity of over 10 million tonnes. The company is actively promoting core technologies including but not limited to green mines, smart mines, intelligent long-wall mining, unmanned mining trucks, mining robotics and intelligent integrated application platform. China Shenhua has reached world-leading level in production, technology, quality, energy consumption and environmental protection. Twenty of its coal mines were awarded as national or provincial green mines, with the production from green mines taking the lead in China. China Shenhua was conferred the title of Excellent Coal Producer in Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction (2020-2021) and all of its coal mines were rated as Safe and Efficient Mines by China National Coal Association.
