Incorporated on November 8, 2004, China Shenhua Energy Company Limited (“China Shenhua” for short), a subsidiary of China Energy Investment Corporation, was dual-listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange after initial public offering (IPO) on June 15, 2005 and October 9, 2007, respectively. As of December 31, 2021, China Shenhua had total assets of 607.1 billion yuan, a market capitalization of US$66.2 billion with 78,000 employees.
