To help realize the national goals of peaking carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060, China Shenhua actively promotes the development of new energy by investing in industrial funds and new energy projects.China Shenhua has new energy projects of combined capacity 2,270 MW, including those in planning stage, under construction and in operation. It has invested 6 billion Yuan to co-establish Guoneng New Energy Industrial Investment Fund and Guoneng Green and Low-carbon Development Investment Fund, which will spur the launch of wind and PV power projects with a total capacity of nearly 10 GW. China Shenhua was awarded the first prize in recognition of its efforts in resources contribution to new energy development of CHN Energy.
