Recently, Shendong Coal Fire and Rescue joined in hands with the Fire and Rescue Station of Wulanmulun Town, Ejin Horo Banner, Erdos to carry out fire safety publicity and fire emergency evacuation drill in Wulanmulun Town Kindergarten, underpinning school fire safety in spring and effectively improving teachers and students’ fire safety awareness as well as self-protection and self-rescue ability.
The officers of the Fire and Rescue Station introduced the structures and functions of the fire equipment to the children, and answered their questions. Under the guidance of the officers, the children took a close look at various parts of the fire truck and learned about the respective functions.
In the fire emergency evacuation drill, class teachers rushed to the designated position in time, and guided the children to bend their waist, cover their nose and mouth with wet towels and evacuate along the designated route in a quick and orderly manner. Within less than two minutes, all teachers and students safely evacuated to the designated safety point. The officers then demonstrated how fire truck extinguished the fire. With intense and orderly process, the drill had achieved its intended effect.
During this event, the officers of the Fire and Rescue Station also introduced the safety hazards in daily life, which were often caused by the non-standard use of fire and electricity, reminding the kindergarten staff to earnestly perform fire safety responsibility and effectively improve the self-rescue ability.
