On March 1, 2024, grassroots units of Xinshuo Railway Company in Kangbashi District jointly launched volunteer service campaign, guiding employees to temper themselves, forge moral quality and contribute to the society.
Volunteers distributed anti-fraud leaflets to residents and explained anti-fraud cases in the residential quarters of Xingwang Community, reminding residents to neither scan suspicious QR code or click unfamiliar links for trifling gains, nor recklessly transfer and remit money to the accounts of strangers.
Volunteers presented rice, noodles, edible oil and other gifts to the elderly of households receiving subsistence allowances and those sick, disabled and impoverished elderly, kindly chatted with them to learn about their health, daily life and family economic status. Afterwards, volunteers dressed in red vests and moved bicycles and electric vehicles, which were randomly placed in the community, to the public parking lot. They also cleaned up garbage and snow around parking sheds, activity rooms and fitness equipment areas.
