On February 1, 2024, five volunteers of Baorixile Open-pit Coal Mine and Xinchun Community of Shengli Sub-district, Hailaer District, Hulunbuir City jointly paid a heart-warming visit to poor families and the lonely elderly to extend warmth and care and fulfill their responsibilities as volunteers.
The volunteers visited the poor families in the community, presented them rice, oil, daily supplies, among others. They talked with the residents, learned about their recent physical conditions and living conditions, and expressed the Spring Festival wishes in advance. Subsequently, they went to the elderly care apartment to visit the lonely elderly. They kindly reminded the elderly to pay attention to take clothes on and keep warm in adaptation to changing temperature in the cold winter. An elderly resident gratefully said, “Thank you for your care for me. Although I live alone, I am always touched by the warmth of home.”
The volunteers vowed to render sincere services with caring heart, promptly learn about the needs of the people in difficulties, and take practical actions to help overcome difficulties. In this way, the charitable heart keeps fervent and the care radiates forever.
For a long time, Baorixile Open-Pit Coal Mine mobilizes volunteers to provide voluntary services, such as college entrance examination escort, tree planting and assistance in various examinations, demonstrating a good example of energy enterprise for fulfilling social responsibility, and enjoying widespread recognition from the public.
