On January 5, Shendong Cuncaota Coal Mine donated 50 “Emergency Health Kits” to the Wulan Mulun Community, providing continuous support for the health and well-being of the elderly living alone. This initiative aims to assist solitary elderly residents in preparing emergency medical supplies, fulfill enterprise social responsibility and spread kindness to contribute to the society.
In response to the needs of the Community, the Cuncaota Coal Mine provided the solitary elderly residents with “Emergency Health Kits” containing basic first aid medicines and medical equipment. The staff learned about the recent life and health conditions of the elderly in details, as well as their medication requirements. They patiently explained the precautions and proper use for medication and kindly remind the elderly to take care of themselves.
Since the establishment of partnership for joint development with Wulan Mulun Community, Cuncaota Coal Mine has engaged in volunteer services at the community nursing home for five times and organized one youth fellowship activity. Through shared resources, public services, regional co-governance, and collaborative activities, a joint force for community-enterprise cooperation has been fostered. Cuncaota Coal Mine was honored with the title of “Outstanding Unit for Joint Development” by the Community in 2023, encouraging further contributions to the establishment of a harmonious, beautiful, and civilized community.
