Recently, the Xilingol League Association for Care of Minors Psychology bestowed the title of Best Contribution Service Team upon the Qingmang Volunteer Service Team under Shengli Energy’s Open-Pit Mining Team, acknowledging its dedicated contribution to the “Buds Guardian” initiative in 2023, a service program focusing on women and children’s rights and interests in Inner Mongolia.
The Qingmang Volunteer Service Team was formerly known as the Taiyangshi Study Assistance Team, which had provided targeted support to families in need regularly. With the expansion of public welfare activities, the Taiyangshi Study Assistance Team continued to attract increasingly more young members to join to extend love and care for the society and others. As decided by the mining team after thorough research, the Qingmang Volunteer Service Team was established under the leadership of the mining team’s Youth League Branch.
Since its establishment, the Team has actively communicated and collaborated with various organizations, including the Xilingol League Association for Care of Minors Psychology, Xiritala Saihan Community, and Xilingol League Power Supply Company to organize and assist in multiple public welfare projects. In 2023, the Team participated in 18 public welfare activities, making 8 visits to schools and communities to carry out “Buds Guardian” voluntary service for the care of minors. They helped children learn about preventing school violence, developing good mental health, and fostering self-appreciation. Furthermore, they actively engaged in targeted assistance and support for impoverished families, conducted fundraising campaigns for a girl injured in a car accident, and other voluntary service activities, delivering love to warm society.
