Recently, the central China branch of Coal Operation Company under China Energy received a thank-you letter from Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission. In the letter, the commission expressed acclaims and thanks to the branch company for its contribution to guaranteeing power and coal supply and supporting safe electricity generation in Hubei Province since the beginning of this year.
As a key enterprise for guaranteeing energy supply in central China, the branch company has assumed heavy duties and responsibilities with firm determination and overcome a multitude of difficulties and challenges such as resource shortage, overloaded operation of coal-fired power generators in the summer season, and continuous drop of the water levels of the trunk stream and branches of the Yangtze River. It gives full play to China Energy’s advantage in production-transport-sale integrated operation, optimizes and pools resources such as river harbors, shipping, and commodity inspection, promotes intelligent logistics, and formulates logistics and transport operation norms and transport industry standards. Over the years, it has worked hard to build stable, high-efficiency coal supply capacity, providing a strong support for safe energy supply in central China.
So far, the company has supplied more than 60 million tonnes of coal to Hubei, surpassing the 10-million-tonne mark for four successive years.
