On September 19, 2022, “Smart Elderly Care” Project was launched at the Happiness Nursing Home in Guanjiaju Village, Mizhi County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, a partner assistance point of Shendong Coal Company. Under scientific means, this project is aimed to provide meticulous and thoughtful elderly care services, to dispel the worries of the elderly and their children, and to further improve the service level of Happiness Nursing Home.
On the site of the project launch, monitoring bracelets were distributed to more than 60 local elderly people aged over 75. Such bracelet could automatically monitor and upload real-time data, including heart rate, blood pressure and oxyhemoglobin saturation. Once an abnormality is detected, village doctor will be dispatched straight away to deliver door-to-door service.
In 2020, to support the elderly in Guanjiaju Village, CHN Energy Group invested RMB500,000 (including RMB90,000 funded by Civil Affairs Bureau of Mizhi County) to build the Happiness Nursing Home. In 2021, for extension and further improvement on various functions of the nursing home, CHN Energy Group invested RMB770,000 (including RMB470,000 funded by Mizhi County). In 2022, CHN Energy Group invested RMB450,000 to add rooftop photovoltaic equipment, water purification system and smart elderly care system. Guanjiaju Village Happiness Nursing Home is growing into a clean, environment-friendly and recyclable iconic “Environment-friendly Happiness Home with Zero Carbon Emission” and “Model Happiness Home of CHN Energy”.
