Recently, Shengli Energy Shared Service Center completed renovation of the drainage facilities in the railway culvert area around Shengli Mine, addressing the catchy issue of surrounding access for nearby farmers and herdsmen in rainy days.
The center learned that the railway culverts and roads nearby Shengli Mine are low-lying, with severely aging drainage facilities. The water reaches up to 1.2 meters in rainy seasons, threatening the safety of residents passing by. Upon inspecting the waterlogged road sections and interviewed local residents, the staff drafted an effective construction plan while factoring into consideration residents’ opinions. A drainage system applying 60 cubic meters of glass fiber reinforced plastic storage tanks in total was installed, which ensures neat road surfaces and quick drainage of rainwater, effectively wiping away the issue of road waterlogging.
