On the eve of the 19th "World Blood Donor Day", Shuohuang Railway Shengang Station encouraged the employees to actively participate in voluntary blood donation. This is also the 7th consecutive year of voluntary blood donation for Shengang Station, with a total of 60,000 ml of blood donated.
Shengang Station organized the blood donation in consultation with Tianjin Binhai New Area Blood Center, and publicized blood donation knowledge to the employees. Upon the arrival of the blood donation car, employees who had been waiting carefully filled in the forms, measured blood pressure in an orderly manner, and took blood tests under the guidance of the volunteers. After the blood passed the test, the blood collection began. Among the blood donors, there are old employees who have donated blood many times, as well as young participants who donated blood for the first time. A total of 40 staff participated, and the cumulative blood donation amounted to 14,000 ml.
The voluntary blood donation organized by Shengang Station started in 2016, and more than 200 people have participated, shouldering the responsibility of making social contributions with concrete action.
