As of May 5, the annual cumulative railway coal transportation volume of Xinjiang Energy reached 10.689 million tonnes, successfully achieving the phased transportation targets and ensuring safe and stable energy supply with highly coordinated and efficient transportation performance.
Since the beginning of this year, in response to dual challenges of tight transportation capacity and fluctuating market demand, the company has focused on breaking the bottleneck in railway coal transportaion. Adhering to the goals of "keeping transportation smooth, enhancing operational efficiency and expanding market share", it has fully leveraged the loading and delivery advantages of its own dedicated railway lines, and built an efficient, flexible and diversified transportation system, driving steady growth and new benchmarks in railway coal volume. In transportation network development, the company overcame the constraints of single-mode transport and developed a flexible and efficient road-rail intermodal network. It fully applied the intermodal transport model at transit platforms on non-dedicated lines, forming an integrated logistics system featuring "short-distance road haulage + railway trunk line transportation", effectively addressing the "last-mile" challenge. In addition, the company strengthened in-depth cooperation with key railway stations, coordinated high-quality third-party platform resources, and further expanded the market coverage of Heishan premium blended coal and Hongshaquan No.2 Mine blended coal, extending sales coverage from the northern Tianshan economic belt to all parts of southern Xinjiang and markets outside the region. While balancing regional coal supply and demand and easing local energy shortages, it expanded outbound routes for Xinjiang coal destined for Ningxia, Qinghai and Chongqing, strengthening the resilience and risk resistance of the supply chain. In transportation efficiency enhancement, the company deepened coordination and interaction with Urumqi Railway Bureau, set up a regular "daily communication and daily analysis" mechanism, jointly formulated daily loading plans for energy supply security, tracked of freight market changes in real time and flexibly adjusted wagon application plans, ensuring precise matching between transportation resources and actual demand.
Meanwhile, the company established and improved the full-process assessment mechanism covering vehicle inspection and coal loading, assigned dedicated personnel to supervise every loading procedure at all stations, optimized operational procedures, standardized operating criteria, reduced operation dwontime and increased loading efficiency, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient coal transportation. Data showed the company loaded 884 railway trains in April, with a daily average of 29.5 trains, setting a new monthly record for coal shipment volume of the year.
