Recently, Shuohuang Railway and Baoshen Railway jointly conducted mutual inspection and testing of comprehensive inspection trains, fully identifying strengths and shortcomings in the operation and management of heavy-haul railways. Through mutual learning from each other to offset the weaknesses, the two companies accurately analyzed pain points in operation and management, and held in-depth discussions on solutions and improvement measures to jointly promote further development.
This campaign focused on the core of heavy-haul railway operation and management, covering key areas including safety management, construction control, outsourcing project rectification, transportation organization, special line management, and intelligent locomotive driving. Multi-level and all-round discussions and experience sharing were carried out on management practices, technical achievements and practical methods.
During the meetings, the two companies shared technical experience in an all-round way, sorted out common problems and summarized best practices. They identified gaps and weaknesses through comparative inspection and broadened vision through communication, and reached extensive consensus. On safety management, focusing on three key areas including the implementation of safety responsibilities, operation of the dual-prevention mechanism, and control of core risks. Adhering to a problem-oriented approach, they targeted weak links in management and promoted intelligent control of safety management covering human, machine, environment and management factors. This facilitates the shift of safety work from passive defense to active prevention. On emergency rescue, they discussed emergency plans, on-site disposal schemes, emergency drills and team building, and jointly established a coordinated emergency rescue mechanism to enhance emergency command and dispatch capabilities as well as on-site rescue and response capacity. On tunnel management, they jointly tackled technical challenges in tunnel inspection, and enhanced the accuracy of hidden defect detection in tunnels by relying on scientific and technological methods, building a solid safety line for train operation in tunnels. On construction management, they jointly improved the institutional management system for construction safety, strictly controlled the access and training of construction units and resolutely phased out unqualified contractors. On outsourcing project rectification, they jointly optimized the management mechanism for outsourced contractors, and improved the whole-process system covering contractor selection, assessment and withdrawal. On intelligent locomotive driving, they jointly planned the development direction of intelligent driving, coordinated the promotion of equipment layout and function upgrading, fully realizing intelligent locomotive operation, reducing the labor intensity and enhancing railway operation safety support capacity. On intelligent operation, management and maintenance, they deepened the application of intelligent O&M systems, and enhanced equipment inspection and monitoring capacity with advanced technologies, liberating frontline productivity and comprehensively improving the intrinsic safety of equipment and personnel. On inspection and monitoring data sharing, they promoted the shared application of inspection and monitoring data, and guided the formulation of differentiated equipment maintenance standards based on different line sections and line conditions, realizing precise equipment inspection and maintenance, and eliminating problems such as insufficient maintenance and excessive maintenance.
This mutual inspection and exchange activity successfully established a high-quality platform for cross-unit communication and mutual learning, further fostering a sound atmosphere of mutual assistance and learning within the corporation. The activity effectively promoted the enhancement of both companies in corporate management, safe production, smart construction, technology-driven safety and construction management, providing useful references for exploring logistics coordination, safe production and the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
