In September, the average “sea-to-river” vessel waiting time of China Energy Coal Trading Company stayed at 12.32 hours, 2.41 hours less than that of the previous month, with the efficiency increased by 16.4%, setting a new shortest record of the “sea-to-river” integrated logistics delivery waiting time.

The Central China branch of the company was fully mobilized, with departments at each level concretely taking up their respective responsibilities, and took actions to constantly strengthen communication and coordination with transit terminals to dock and formulate berthing plans and unloading operation plans for ships entering the river in advance. It always pays close attention to the water level of the Yangtze River and the impact of bad weather, and makes every effort to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of “sea-to-river” logistics. At the same time, it strives to promote digital empowerment, realize full-process tracking and management through the intelligent “sea-to-river” logistics platform, strengthen the safety monitoring of coal stacking in transit port yards, improve the visualized supervision of the whole process of “sea-to-river” logistics to track the operation process in real time, and establish a real-time feedback mechanism with transit ports.

The company also advances the construction of safety management and control of visualized, intelligent logistics platforms, improve the system’s early warning functions, realize remote and accurate positioning of on-site personnel and vehicles, and create an information-based “electronic fence” for the safety protection of coal logistics and yards. It continues to promote the sharing of dynamic information of vessels on the sea and river and use the intelligent platform to convey unloading instructions and plans to the port in a real-time manner to ensure accurate and timely berthing operations of vessels on the sea. Moreover, it has continuously optimized the berthing and unberthing plans of ships at the Yangtze River Terminal and made every effort to shorten the berthing and operation time of ships that sail from the sea to the river, thus ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the “sea-to-river” integrated delivery and guaranteeing coal supply for regional users.
