On January 6, Shengli Energy sold 100,200 tonnes of coal, a record high for the same period in history. The company is making every effort to guarantee coal supply.

Since the beginning of January, in the face of bad weathers such as cold waves and snowfalls, Shengli Energy has made thorough preparations and arrangements for coal mining, transport, loading, unloading, and storage. It encouraged its employees to “fight the chilly winter” to ensure stable coal supply. The company attaches great importance to safety, and has carried out risk screening and removal according to seasonal characteristics and strengthened measures to resist coldness and prevent fire, fog and slippery, continuously consolidating the safety foundation to cope with cold weathers. In view that the tops of coal seams are easy to freeze in winter, it managed to prevent crushing machines from shutdown and malfunction caused by bulky coal blocks through methods such as backhoe shallow mining, bulldozer plowing, and electric shovel crushing, thus ensuring stable operation of the ground coal production system. The system has maintained a production capacity of 2,000 tonnes per hour. Moreover, the company further streamlined the loading workflow and strengthened on-site safe operation management. Through coordination and collaboration of vehicle safety inspectors and weighers, it has reinforced the operations and maintenance of loading equipment and the scheduling and control of internal traffic safety, and enhanced the loading efficiency. The company adopts a sales strategy known as “early overproduction and late control.” Through daily scheduling, weekly analysis and monthly review, it has constantly optimized the transport structure, improved the loading and transport efficiency, and placed the sales schedule under control, effectively ensuring safety and stable production. In this way, Shengli Energy gives full play to its role as a ballast and stabilizer in guaranteeing energy supply.
