Jinjie Company’s Scientific and Technological Achievements Won the Power Equipment Operation and Maintenance Technology Innovation Achievement Award

The China Technology Market Association released the  Notice on Power Equipment Operation and Maintenance Technology Innovation Achievements in 2026. Two achievements of CHN Energy Jinjie Company, Research and Application of Holographic Technology for Four Main Pipelines in High-level Steam Turbine Layout and Research and Application of Small-diameter Pipe Digital Radiography (DR) Inspection Technology and Equipment, won the Four-star Innovation Achievements award.

The Phase III project of the Company innovatively adopted the high-level layout mode for turbo-generator sets, saving materials for four main pipelines and exhaust pipelines, and reducing resistance in main steam and reheat steam pipelines. The reduction in pipeline length increased pipeline stress. Thus, the Company developed a holographic stress and health status management system for four main pipelines in high-level steam turbine layout. The system realized online stress monitoring for steam pipelines under high temperature and pressure and greatly reduced structural stress of pipelines and extended their service life, further supporting the Company in energy conservation and efficiency enhancement.

The Research and Application of Small-diameter Pipe Digital Radiography (DR) Inspection Technology and Equipment directly converted radiographic image information of water walls in maintenance units into digital image information. Compared with the traditional intensifying screen-film system, it had a wide dynamic range and large exposure latitude, and produced high-quality images for workpieces with large thickness differences including small-diameter pipes. DR technology required low exposure and needed no darkroom processing. Digital images obtained by this technology could be stored for a long time and is easy to manage. These images supported various processing operations, providing technical support for detailed observation, before-and-after comparison and quantitative analysis in image diagnosis. The images also supported network transmission, and realized remote sharing, remote evaluation and remote expert diagnosis, further enhancing defect detection rate.

In addition, the Company fully implemented the innovation-driven development strategy.
