Recently, Shengli Energy’s Equipment Maintenance Center officially launched the “Intelligent Monitoring System of Engineering Vehicle Tire”, marking a significant leap from traditional manual inspections to full-lifecycle, intelligent monitoring of engineering tires, which fills a critical gap in intelligent monitoring of mining tires and advances the industry toward an era of comprehensive and intelligent oversight across the entire operational chain.
The low efficiency of manual inspections, coupled with rapid tire damage, has troubled maintenance personnel for years. Driven by a problem-solving perspective and inspired by a comprehensive lifespan management system, the Center has persistently tackled these challenges through technological innovation. After extensive data accumulation and testing, the intelligent monitoring system of engineering vehicle tire was officially put into operation. The system’s IoT sensors are capable of monitoring tire pressure, temperature, and usage conditions in real time. Maintenance personnel can make judgments based solely on real-time tire data transmission, solving the difficulties of complex operating conditions and remote data monitoring, which enhances spot inspection accuracy, reduces spot inspection costs, and enables full-process intelligent management from tire deployment, inspection, and maintenance to disposal, thus transforming post-defect detection into proactive and preventive management.
The deployment of this system fills a critical gap in the Company’s engineering tire intelligent detection, driving the transition from traditional manual spot inspections to “intelligent manufacturing and maintenance”, and setting new standards for tire operation and safety. In addition, estimated data indicates that full implementation could reduce tire inspection costs by 19% and decrease failure rates by 25%.
