On April 3, Shendong Coal Washing Center’s Shigetai Coal Preparation Plant realized intelligent control operations for the preparation and feeding of reagent, as well as the unmanned operation of concentration tank, marking a significant breakthrough for the Plant in terms of intelligent construction, reducing labor costs, and minimizing human errors.
Previously, the preparation and feeding of reagents were mainly relied on manual effort in adjusting the pharmaceutical concentration and dosage according to changes in the slime water. This operation method not only consumes a lot of manpower but also is prone to errors when faced with complex and changeable coal slime water conditions, resulting in unstable coal slime water sedimentation effect. The intelligent reagent feeding system can accurately determine and automatically adjust the dosage of reagents based on parameters such as coal slime water concentration, turbidity of clarified water, interface meter, and feeding flow rate to achieve the optimal production results. At the same time, the intelligent system, equipped with an autonomous start and stop function throughout the whole process, greatly improves the controllability and stability of the production process. After nearly 4 months of database collection, analysis, and comparative adjustments, the intelligent reagent feeding system has become more mature and stable, requiring no dedicated supervision.
