The list of winners for 2023 China Quality Technical Award was released recently, and the “Key Process Technology and Engineering Application of Surface-underground Coordinated High-quality Extraction in Super-large Highly Gassy Mine” submitted by Shendong Coal won the Second Prize.
Based on quality, safety and reliability evaluation of gas extraction, the project of “Key Process Technology and Application of Three-dimensional Surface-underground Coordinated High-quality Extraction in Super-large Highly Gassy Low Permeability Coal Seam” rolls out a key process technology system for surface-underground coordinated extraction, composed of U-shaped well on the surface, ultra-long directional hole boring, and surface-underground butted hole boring, etc. It not only achieves full coverage and high-quality extraction of coal seams and extraction areas, but also eliminates blind area of extraction in the coal mass of the working face.
It is reported that the China Quality Technical Award was set up with a view to facilitating the achievement of a great power of quality, promoting quality technology advancement, and commending organizations and individuals with outstanding contributions in the field. This achievement of Shendong Coal further gives impetuses to the industry-wide quality technology progress and underpins Shendong Coal with vigorous sci-tech support towards the goal of growing into a first-class model enterprise.
