Lately, Shendong Coal put into use 11 trackless rubber-tyred lifting platform vehicles powered with explosion-proof lithium-ion battery (LIB) in its coal mines, providing professional equipment support for lifting operations in underground mines.
The 11 lifting platform vehicles are the company’s first batch of new energy electric vehicles for special transport operations, which are powered by back-carrying explosion-proof LIB for mining use. Each vehicle has a rated horsepower of 93KW, a maximum torque of 950Nm, a maximum gradeability of 14 degrees, and a maximum workable slope of 5 degrees. Its cabinet is 4,100mm long, with a rated lifting load of 1,800kg and a maximum lifting height of 4,500mm. The lifting platform car features a 1,200mm-tall looped railing, which can be locked both in the upper and lower parts to guarantee the personal safety of operators. Moreover, such vehicles have control handles and emergency stop buttons for the convenience of operators.
