On 29th June, the onshore power project in loading terminals of Zhunhai Port has finished six tests for vessels of CCS size, marking the full completion and official operation of the project. The six tests include general test, protective function test, electrical parameter test, loading ability test, etc. The completion of the project made Zhuhai Port the first bulk port in Southern China to realize 100% coverage of onshore power in all terminals.
The onshore power system, designed to provide electricity for vessels moored in the terminal, is a important measure to prevent and control air pollution. Ever since the signing of the contract, the company has taken measure to ensure the implementation of the project, including made detailed execution plans and established a coordination team. The company conquered difficulties of delayed spare equipment delivery due to the pandemic, the failure of delivering some components, the personnel movement. The company worked well with the contractors, in spite of high temperature in scorching summer, and finished all key milestone project in time. After unremitting efforts for four months, the project finally finished and passed the tests.
