Recently, the 10th Asian Quality Function Deployment and Innovation Case Competition, themed Quality Development in the AI Era, was held in Hangzhou. Baoshen Railway’s two QC projects were awarded the First Prize in the Asian Quality Innovation Case Competition and three other achievements won the Second Prize.
The Asian Quality Innovation Award, established by the Asia Quality Function Deployment Association (AQFDA), is a prestigious accolade in the field of quality in Asia. This year’s competition attracted over 600 experts and scholars from more than ten countries and regions, including China, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, who gathered to discuss systematic innovation methods, theories, and practices in quality management. The Development of an Intelligent Maintenance Device for Heavy-Haul Railway Turnouts and Development of a Multi-functional Rapid-Response Safety Monitoring System for Heavy-Haul Railway Cable Trenches submitted by Baoshen Railway, closely addressed practical needs such as safe production, intelligent operation and maintenance, and process innovation. By ingeniously applying innovative quality management methodologies, with solid research foundations, remarkable practical results, and brilliant live presentations, the projects earned high recognition from experts, scholars, and judges. These achievements fully demonstrate the company’s technological innovation capabilities in digitalization and intelligence.
