On February 10, 2024, marked by a stream of iron fine powder containers loaded into the trains and dispatched from Huanghua Port, the two-way heavy-haul container large logistics transportation formally kicked off on a regular basis in China Energy Huanghua Harbor Administration Corporation.
Boasting the highest coal shipment in China, Huanghua Port holds firm to its positioning of “a multi-functional, comprehensive and modern port” and “an important hub port for transporting coal from the Western China to the Eastern China and from the Northern China to the Southern China”, makes full use of its advantages including the integrated operation of port and railway and the self-owned container resources of Shuohuang Railway Company, constantly optimizes transportation modes and routes, and unveils a new business line of two-way heavy-haul freight train transportation. It is reported that this batch of 31,000-tonne iron fine powder was transported from Hainan to the bulk and general cargo terminal of Huanghua Port by Ship “Fuyuan 06”, loaded into the trains after packing operation in the logistics yard, and finally transported to Jingye Group through Canggang Railway and Shuohuang Railway. The success of two-way heavy-haul transportation effectively reduces the comprehensive logistics transportation cost of clients, improves the efficiency of cargo turnover, quickens the pace for innovation, improves working efficiency, and lays a solid foundation for promoting the high-quality development of large logistics business of CHN Energy while contributing to local economic development.
