On August 18, China National Coal Association held the 2023 Coal Industry Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report Release Conference, at which China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd. was listed as an outstanding enterprise in CSR report release in the coal industry.
The conference unveiled the 2022 list of outstanding enterprises in CSR report release in the coal industry. The CSR reports released by the enterprises focus on hot and tough issues concerning social responsibility management, such as energy supply and price stabilization, “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” goals, scientific and technological innovation, safe development, environmental governance, low-carbon transformation, and people’s livelihood and well-being, and comprehensively demonstrate their efforts in fulfilling social responsibilities, further enhancing the enterprises’ social value and influence in their respective industries.
For a long time, China Shenhua has adhered to green and low-carbon transformation and sustainable development, continuously established and improved its organizational structure for ESG governance, optimized its institutional management system, advanced information-based development, and enhanced information disclosure. As a result, its ESG governance has always been at the forefront in China’s energy industry.
