China Association for Public Companies (CAPCO) recently released the 2022 list of ESG Best Practices among A-share listed companies. China Shenhua stood out of 146 entries and was inscribed onto the list of the ESG Best Practices among Listed Companies.
The CAPCO will collaborate with mainstream financial media to publicize the company’s case and include the company’s information into the positive list of securities and futures market integrity database of China Securities Regulatory Commission.
In recent years, China Shenhua has been actively implementing the new development philosophy in the new development stage. Focusing on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, it has constantly reinforced the foundation for ESG governance and built an ESG governance model that is guided by effective strategies, supported by efficient governance and empowered by digital technologies, with focus on key businesses and complete technical indexes. These measures enable the company to achieve high-quality development and become a role model of corporate governance in the energy industry.
