Recently, the 26th Pingyao International Photography Festival kicked off. A photographic work by Zhao Jinxu, an employee of China Shenhua’s Yanbao Energy, titled Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains Are Invaluable Assets; Ice and Snow Resources Are Also Invaluable Assets, was selected for exhibition, showcasing the Company’s green mine construction achievements to an international audience.
This year’s festival is themed “Openness and Innovation: Building Dreams with Light”, featuring works by more than 2,600 photographers from over 30 countries and regions. Zhao Jinxu’s exhibited work focuses on Baorixile Open-Pit Coal Mine, a national green mine, documenting the ecological restoration and green development initiatives undertaken at the mine. The photograph captures the transformation of a former mining area into a verdant landscape, highlighting both the ecological foundation of “lucid waters and lush mountains” and the development value of “ice and snow resources”, while conveying the profound essence of sustainable development.
For years, Yanbao Energy has unswervingly pursued a green and low-carbon development path, coordinated mining and ecological protection, carried out land reclamation and vegetation restoration, and strived to build eco-friendly green mines. Employees have used their lenses to capture ecological changes and record the Company’s persistence and dedication on the path of green transition. This exhibition is both a wonderful showcase of employees’ artistic and literary creations and a public presentation of the Company’s green development results, demonstrating the positive synergy between corporate culture development and green growth.
