On July 27, with the completion of the loading on “Tianzuo” Ship, Shandong Subsidiary of CHN Energy Coal Sales Co., Ltd. cumulatively loaded 2.045 million tons of coal for shipment at Longkou Port. Shipment volume exceeded 2 million tons, setting a milestone record.
Since the inauguration of Longkou Port, Shandong Subsidiary has backed up the development of launching and shipment business at Longkou Port in a multi-pronged manner. In terms of staffing, Shandong Subsidiary takes the initiative to designate the key staff to take responsibility for launching and shipment of Longkou Port. Moreover, through the secondment of port business professionals from Huanghua Port and Tianjin Port, Shandong Subsidiary provides more support for business operation of Longkou Port. In terms of logistics channels, Shandong Subsidiary actively interacts with Shandong Highway Group and Longkou Port Station, shortens the turnaround duration of vehicles entering the port, ensures the priority of commercial coal of CHN Energy and effectively improves the efficiency of transportation, loading and unloading. In terms of port management, by proactively coordinating with Longkou Port, CHN Energy secures the dedicated yards and berths, which has provided favorable conditions for coal yard management and shipment efficiency improvement.
Shandong Subsidiary extends the sales presence from Huanghua-Dajiawa Railway to Longkou Port by thoroughly leveraging integrated operation advantages of CHN Energy Group. It not only makes contributions to the diversion of self-owned ports under the management of CHN Energy Group, but also vigorously takes practical actions in the construction of Longkou Port, which will become the fourth largest loading port in northern China.
