On July 1, the "Sprinkler Device for Dust Suppression" independently developed by Huanghua Port was granted an invention patent by the China National Intellectual Property Administration. This patent is a high-value core patent of the dust suppression for the open-air coal storage yard, which effectively solves the problem of dust pollution in coal ports.
The sprinkler device is a pioneer technology originally developed by Huanghua Port and a first of its kind in China. Based on a new yard sprinkler mechanism, the device is installed with a mobile intelligent water curtain system, which can realize large-scale movement, large volume of water storage, automatic water source-seeking and supply, quantitative and precise watering on the surface of coal piles. Compared with the existing technology, the device is integrated with a large mobile stand-alone in the storage yard, and is connected to the spray gun network to realize the automatic water supply at multiple fixed water intake points. By using the mobile stand-alone boom, the device realizes the full coverage and even watering of the coal pile surface. The device has the characteristics of accurate, even and large watering coverage, replacing the traditional water supply method of the open water tank.
The patent has been applied for engineering demonstration in many ports such as Huanghua Port, Tianjin Port and Qinhuangdao Port. The application shows that the device greatly improves the clean handling of the storage yard, effectively suppresses the discharge of dust, realizes the efficient and all-season watering of the surface of the coal piles and saves valuable water resources, providing a new solution to the coal dust pollution control in large open-air storage yards.
