Heidaigou Open-pit produced 23.79 million tonnes raw coal in 2006 and was awarded as “National high yield and high efficiency Coal Mine” by national industry authorities. Currently, Heidaigou Open-pit utilizes the drag-line mining technology as well as trucks of 145 tonnes and excavators of 32 cubic meters imported from America and wheel excavators from Germany.
