Phase II of Huanghua port reached its shipping capacity

By 9am on 12th December 2005, we completed annual task of shipping volume of 30 million tonnes in Phase II of Huanghua port, reaching its shipping capacity in the year when it was put into commercial operation.
The expansion project of phase II of Huanghua port embarked on construction in September 2002. The project was completed and put into acceptance test in October 2004. We built three berths in phase II, consisting of two berths with each freight capacity of 50,000 tonnes, one berth with a freight capacity of 100,000 tonnes. The designed annual unloading capacity of freight car is 36 million tonnes, and shipping capacity is 30 million tonnes. The gross investment of phase II is RMB 2.467 billion. The length of dock is 840 meters, width 23 meters.
