China Shenhua will be added into Hang Seng Index

Thr quarterly results review announced by HSI services company on 7 November 2007 showed that the company will add China Shenhua into the ranks of the Hang Seng Index constituent stocks from 10 December 2007 with a weight of 2.39%, which ranks a 13th position in terms of the equity component.
By then the number of constituent stocks will increase to 43 from 40 and the 12 months average market value coverage rate will rises from 62.4% up to 64.9%. The state-owned enterprises joined the ranks of the blue chip stocks would have increased to eight, accounting for 18.6% of the total.
