National Environmentally-friendly Enterprise Prize awarded to Guohua Beijing Thermal Power Plant

National Environmentally-friendly Enterprise Prize was awarded to Guohua Beijing Thermal Power Plant (or Beijing Thermal) by the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) on October 20th, 2005. Beijing Thermal produces both power and heat. The utilization of heat is ladderlike. Beijing Thermal also develops and implements several advanced environmental technology, achieving above 95% of desulphurization rate.

Spokesman from SEPA said that the National environmentally-friendly enterprises are these whose operations are high-technical, economical efficient, low resource consuming and low pollution. Also, they practise forming environmentally-friendly society. These enterprises are in the leading position of unpolluted production, environmental protection, energy saving and comprehensive utilization of resources.

As we know, the National Environmentally-friendly Enterprise Prize is the highest glory in evaluating environmental matters of Chinese enterprises. Many criteria are set in assessing the matters of environmental, management and production. The candidates are the good performers in procurement, manufacturing techniques, production management, environmental matters, and social responsibility.
